<title>[SK_BUFF]: Convert skb-&gt;tail to sk_buff_data_t</title>

So that it is also an offset from skb-&gt;head, reduces its size from 8 to 4 bytes
on 64bit architectures, allowing us to combine the 4 bytes hole left by the
layer headers conversion, reducing struct sk_buff size to 256 bytes, i.e. 4
64byte cachelines, and since the sk_buff slab cache is SLAB_HWCACHE_ALIGN...
:-)

Many calculations that previously required that skb-&gt;{transport,network,
mac}_header be first converted to a pointer now can be done directly, being
meaningful as offsets or pointers.

<title>[PATCH] getting rid of all casts of k[cmz]alloc() calls</title>

Run this:

	#!/bin/sh
	for f in $(grep -Erl "\([^\)]*\) *k[cmz]alloc" *) ; do
	  echo "De-casting $f..."
	  perl -pi -e "s/ ?= ?\([^\)]*\) *(k[cmz]alloc) *\(/ = \1\(/" $f
	done

And then go through and reinstate those cases where code is casting pointers
to non-pointers.

And then drop a few hunks which conflicted with outstanding work.

This patch causes TIPC to return an error message when it receives
an unrecognized configuration command. (Previously, the sender
received no feedback.)

<title>[PATCH] spin/rwlock init cleanups</title>

locking init cleanups:

 - convert " = SPIN_LOCK_UNLOCKED" to spin_lock_init() or DEFINE_SPINLOCK()
 - convert rwlocks in a similar manner

this patch was generated automatically.

Motivation:

 - cleanliness
 - lockdep needs control of lock initialization, which the open-coded
   variants do not give
 - it's also useful for -rt and for lock debugging in general

This change provides user-friendly feedback when TIPC is unable to perform
certain configuration operations that don't work properly in certain modes.
(In particular, any reconfiguration request that would temporarily take TIPC
from network mode to standalone mode, or from standalone mode to not running
mode, is disallowed.)

Tried to run the new tipc stack through sparse.
Following patch fixes all cases where 0 was used
as replacement of NULL.
Use NULL to document this is a pointer and to silence sparse.

This brough sparse warning count down with 127 to 24 warnings.
