The KMSG_COMPONENT macro is a leftover of the s390 specific "kernel
message catalog" which never made it upstream.

Remove the macro in order to get rid of a pointless indirection. Replace
all users with the string it defines. In almost all cases this leads to a
simple replacement like this:

 - #define KMSG_COMPONENT "appldata"
 - #define pr_fmt(fmt) KMSG_COMPONENT ": " fmt
 + #define pr_fmt(fmt) "appldata: " fmt

Except for some special cases this is just mechanical/scripted work.

<title>net: Add struct kernel_ethtool_ts_info</title>

In prevision to add new UAPI for hwtstamp we will be limited to the struct
ethtool_ts_info that is currently passed in fixed binary format through the
ETHTOOL_GET_TS_INFO ethtool ioctl. It would be good if new kernel code
already started operating on an extensible kernel variant of that
structure, similar in concept to struct kernel_hwtstamp_config vs struct
hwtstamp_config.

Since struct ethtool_ts_info is in include/uapi/linux/ethtool.h, here
we introduce the kernel-only structure in include/linux/ethtool.h.
The manual copy is then made in the function called by ETHTOOL_GET_TS_INFO.

This LWN article explains the rationale for this change
https: //lwn.net/Articles/69419/
Ie. snprintf() returns what *would* be the resulting length,
while scnprintf() returns the actual length.

Follow the advice of the below link and prefer 'strscpy' in this
subsystem. Conversion is 1:1 because the return value is not used.

Since
commit e6e771b3d897 ("s390/qeth: detach netdevice while card is offline")
there was a timing window during recovery, that qeth_query_card_info could
be sent to the card, even before it was ready for it, leading to a failing
card recovery. There is evidence that this window was hit, as not all
callers of get_link_ksettings() check for netif_device_present.

Use cached values in qeth_get_link_ksettings(), instead of calling
qeth_query_card_info() and falling back to default values in case it
fails. Link info is already updated when the card goes online, e.g. after
STARTLAN (physical link up). Set the link info to default values, when the
card goes offline or at STOPLAN (physical link down). A follow-on patch
will improve values reported for link down.

Commit fb64de1bc36c ("s390/qeth: phase out OSN support") spelled out
why the OSN support in qeth is in a bad shape, and put any remaining
interested parties on notice to speak up before it gets ripped out.

It's 2021 now, so make true on that promise and remove all the
OSN-specific parts from qeth. This also means that we no longer need to
export various parts of the cmd &amp; data path internals to the L2 driver.

device, there's value in understanding how many of them have been
raised due to our TX completion logic.
