Convert a nonnegative error return code to a negative one, as returned
elsewhere in the function.

A simplified version of the semantic match that finds this problem is as
follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/)

// &lt;smpl&gt;
@@
identifier ret;
expression e1,e2;
@@

if (ret &lt; 0)
 { ... return ret; }
 ... when != ret = e1
     when forall
*if(...)
 {
  ... when != ret = e2
* return ret;
 }
// &lt;/smpl&gt;

Fix printk format warnings in drivers/net/wimax/i2400m:

drivers/net/wimax/i2400m/control.c: warning: format '%zu' expects argument of type 'size_t', but argument 4 has type 'ssize_t' [-Wformat]
drivers/net/wimax/i2400m/control.c: warning: format '%zu' expects argument of type 'size_t', but argument 5 has type 'ssize_t' [-Wformat]
drivers/net/wimax/i2400m/usb-fw.c: warning: format '%zu' expects argument of type 'size_t', but argument 4 has type 'ssize_t' [-Wformat]

I don't see these warnings on x86. The warnings that are quoted above
are from Geert's kernel build reports.

SDIO support in this driver was intended to support the iwmc3200
device. This hardware never became available to normal humans.
Leaving this driver imposes unwelcome maintenance costs for no clear
benefit.

<title>drivers: net: Remove casts to same type</title>

Adding casts of objects to the same type is unnecessary
and confusing for a human reader.

For example, this cast:

        int y;
        int *p = (int *)&amp;y;

I used the coccinelle script below to find and remove these
unnecessary casts. I manually removed the conversions this
script produces of casts with __force, __iomem and __user.

type T;
T *p;

-       (T *)p

<title>skb: Add inline helper for getting the skb end offset from head</title>

With the recent changes for how we compute the skb truesize it occurs to me
we are probably going to have a lot of calls to skb_end_pointer -
skb-&gt;head. Instead of running all over the place doing that it would make
more sense to just make it a separate inline skb_end_offset(skb) that way
we can return the correct value without having gcc having to do all the
optimization to cancel out skb-&gt;head - skb-&gt;head.

The iwmc3200 driver selects other code in Kconfig that depends on
EXPERIMENTAL. Kconfig warns about this when CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL
is not already set, so logically, these options should also
be marked experimental or promoted to stable.

Merge batch of fixes from Andrew Morton:
 "The simple_open() cleanup was held back while I wanted for laggards to
  merge things.

  I still need to send a few checkpoint/restore patches. I've been
  wobbly about merging them because I'm wobbly about the overall
  prospects for success of the project. But after speaking with Pavel
  at the LSF conference, it sounds like they're further toward
  completion than I feared - apparently davem is at the "has stopped
  complaining" stage regarding the net changes. So I need to go back
  and re-review those patchs and their (lengthy) discussion."
