[ Upstream commit 2002fbac743b6e2391b4ed50ad9eb626768dd78a ]

Since commit ece19502834d ("net: phy: micrel: 1588 support for LAN8814
phy") the handler always returns IRQ_HANDLED, except in an error case.
Before that commit, the interrupt status register was checked and if
it was empty, IRQ_NONE was returned. Restore that behavior to play nice
with the interrupt line being shared with others.

[ Upstream commit 4a4ce82212ef014d70f486a427005b2b5bab8e34 ]

The same GPIO line can be shared by multiple phys for the coma mode pin.
If that is the case then, all the other phys that share the same line
will failed to be probed because the access to the gpio line is not
non-exclusive.
Fix this by making access to the gpio line to be nonexclusive using flag
GPIOD_FLAGS_BIT_NONEXCLUSIVE. This allows all the other PHYs to be
probed.

Now that it is possible to use .probe without having .driver_data, let
KSZ8061 use the kszphy specific hooks for probe,suspend and resume,
which is preferred.

Switch to using the dedicated kszphy probe/suspend/resume functions.

Currently, if the .probe element is present in the phy_driver structure
and the .driver_data is not, a NULL pointer dereference happens.

Allow passing .probe without .driver_data by inserting NULL checks
for priv->type.

Since commit f1131b9c23fb ("net: phy: micrel: use
kszphy_suspend()/kszphy_resume for irq aware devices") the kszphy_suspend/
resume hooks are used.

These functions require the probe function to be called so that
priv can be allocated.

Otherwise, a NULL pointer dereference happens inside
kszphy_config_reset().

Since commit f1131b9c23fb ("net: phy: micrel: use
kszphy_suspend()/kszphy_resume for irq aware devices") the following
NULL pointer dereference is observed on a board with KSZ8061:

# udhcpc -i eth0
udhcpc: started, v1.35.0
8<--- cut here ---
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000008
pgd = f73cef4e

PC is at kszphy_config_reset+0x10/0x114
LR is at kszphy_resume+0x24/0x64
...

The KSZ8061 phy_driver structure does not have the .probe/..driver_data
fields, which means that priv is not allocated.

This causes the NULL pointer dereference inside kszphy_config_reset().

Fix the problem by using the generic suspend/resume functions as before.

Another alternative would be to provide the .probe and .driver_data
information into the structure, but to be on the safe side, let's
just restore Ethernet functionality by using the generic suspend/resume.

The LAN8814 has a coma mode pin which puts the PHY into isolate and
power-dowm mode. Unfortunately, the mode cannot be disabled by a
register. Usually, the input pin has a pull-up and connected to a GPIO
which can then be used to disable the mode. Try to get the GPIO and
deassert it.

Both lan8814_ptp_init() and lan8814_ptp_probe_once() are only used if
PTP and PHY timestamping is enabed. Up until now the probe function just
returns early, if they are not needed. But we need the
phy_package_init_once() functionality for the coma mode GPIO setup. Move
the check into the functions itself.
