commit 5eefb477d21a26183bc3499aeefa991198315a2d upstream.

Compiling the m68k kernel with support for the ColdFire CPU family fails
with the following error:

In file included from drivers/net/ethernet/smsc/smc91x.c:80:
drivers/net/ethernet/smsc/smc91x.c: In function ‘smc_reset’:

The function _swapw() was removed in commit d97cf70af097 ("m68k: use
asm-generic/io.h for non-MMU io access functions"), but is still used in
drivers/net/ethernet/smsc/smc91x.h.

Use ioread16be() and iowrite16be() to resolve the error.

commit 8ee9d82cd0a45e7d050ade598c9f33032a0f2891 upstream.

epic_close() calls epic_rx() and uses dma buffer, but in epic_remove_one()
we already freed the dma buffer. To fix this issue, reorder function calls
like in the .probe function.

<title>smsc911x: allow using IRQ0</title>

commit 5ef9b803a4af0f5e42012176889b40bb2a978b18 upstream.

The AlphaProject AP-SH4A-3A/AP-SH4AD-0A SH boards use IRQ0 for their SMSC
LAN911x Ethernet chip, so the networking on them must have been broken by
commit 965b2aa78fbc ("net/smsc911x: fix irq resource allocation failure")
which filtered out 0 as well as the negative error codes -- it was kinda
correct at the time, as platform_get_irq() could return 0 on of_irq_get()
failure and on the actual 0 in an IRQ resource. This issue was fixed by
me (back in 2016!), so we should be able to fix this driver to allow IRQ0
usage again...

When merging this to the stable kernels, make sure you also merge commit
e330b9a6bb35 ("platform: don't return 0 from platform_get_irq[_byname]()
on error") -- that's my fix to platform_get_irq() for the DT platforms...

[ Upstream commit cb93b3e11d405f20a405a07482d01147ef4934a3 ]

Because platform_get_irq() could fail and return error irq.
Therefore, it might be better to check it if order to avoid the use of
error irq.

We got slightly different patches removing a double word
in a comment in net/ipv4/raw.c - picked the version from net.

Simple conflict in drivers/net/ethernet/ibm/ibmvnic.c. Use cached
values instead of VNIC login response buffer (following what
commit 507ebe6444a4 ("ibmvnic: Fix use-after-free of VNIC login
response buffer") did).

The wrappers in include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h should go away.

The patch has been generated with the coccinelle script below and has been
hand modified to replace GFP_ with a correct flag.
It has been compile tested.

When memory is allocated in 'smsc9420_probe()', GFP_KERNEL can be used
because it is a probe function and no lock is acquired.

While at it, rewrite the size passed to 'dma_alloc_coherent()' the same way
as the one passed to 'dma_free_coherent()'. This form is less verbose:
   sizeof(struct smsc9420_dma_desc) * RX_RING_SIZE +
   sizeof(struct smsc9420_dma_desc) * TX_RING_SIZE,
vs
   sizeof(struct smsc9420_dma_desc) * (RX_RING_SIZE + TX_RING_SIZE)
