[ Upstream commit b6d335a60dc624c0d279333b22c737faa765b028 ]

In `igbvf_probe`, if register_netdev() fails, the program will go to
label err_hw_init, and then to label err_ioremap. In free_netdev() which
is just below label err_ioremap, there is `list_for_each_entry_safe` and
`netif_napi_del` which aims to delete all entries in `dev->napi_list`.
The program has added an entry `adapter->rx_ring->napi` which is added by
`netif_napi_add` in igbvf_alloc_queues(). However, adapter->rx_ring has
been freed below label err_hw_init. So this a UAF.

In terms of how to patch the problem, we can refer to igbvf_remove() and
delete the entry before `adapter->rx_ring`.

The KASAN logs are as follows:

commit 1e1f9ca546556e508d021545861f6b5fc75a95fe upstream.

The original issue being fixed in this patch was seen with the ixgbe
driver, but the same issue exists with igbvf as well, as the code is
very similar. read_barrier_depends is not sufficient to ensure
loads following it are not speculatively loaded out of order
by the CPU, which can result in stale data being loaded, causing
potential system crashes.

As per Eric Dumazet's previous patches:
(see commit (24d2e4a50737) - tg3: use napi_complete_done())

Quoting verbatim:
Using napi_complete_done() instead of napi_complete() allows
us to use /sys/class/net/ethX/gro_flush_timeout

GRO layer can aggregate more packets if the flush is delayed a bit,
without having to set too big coalescing parameters that impact
latencies.

Many drivers initialize uselessly n_priv_flags, n_stats, testinfo_len,
eedump_len & regdump_len fields in their .get_drvinfo() ethtool op.
It's not necessary as these fields is filled in ethtool_get_drvinfo().

Setting ndo_features_check to passthru_features_check allows the driver
to skip the check for multiple tagged TSO packets and enables stacked
VLAN TSO.

The driver doesn't clear buffer_info->dma after calling
dma_unmap_single() in all cases. This has been discovered by changing
the mtu twice, which caused the following backtrace.

Use netif_carrier_off() first, since that will prevent the stack from
queuing more packets to this IF. This operation is fast, and should
behave much nicer when trying to bring down an interface under load.

Conflicts:
	drivers/net/vxlan.c
	drivers/vhost/net.c
	include/linux/if_vlan.h
	net/core/dev.c

The net/core/dev.c conflict was the overlap of one commit marking an
existing function static whilst another was adding a new function.

In the include/linux/if_vlan.h case, the type used for a local
variable was changed in 'net', whereas the function got rewritten
to fix a stacked vlan bug in 'net-next'.

In drivers/vhost/net.c, Al Viro's iov_iter conversions in 'net-next'
overlapped with an endainness fix for VHOST 1.0 in 'net'.

In drivers/net/vxlan.c, vxlan_find_vni() added a 'flags' parameter
in 'net-next' whereas in 'net' there was a bug fix to pass in the
correct network namespace pointer in calls to this function.
