commit 31457db3750c0b0ed229d836f2609fdb8a5b790e upstream.

When the probe fails, we must disable the regulator that was previously
enabled.

This patch is a follow-up to commit ac88c531a5b3
("net: davicom: Fix regulator not turned off on failed probe") which missed
one case.

In boards, the dm9000 chip's power and reset can be controlled by gpio.

It makes sense to add them to the dm9000 driver and let dt be used to
enable power and reset the phy.

Pull driver core update from Greg KH:
"Here's the set of driver core patches for 3.19-rc1.

They are dominated by the removal of the .owner field in platform
drivers. They touch a lot of files, but they are "simple" changes,
just removing a line in a structure.

Other than that, a few minor driver core and debugfs changes. There
are some ath9k patches coming in through this tree that have been
acked by the wireless maintainers as they relied on the debugfs
  changes.

Everything has been in linux-next for a while"

There is no need to call ether_setup after alloc_ethdev since it was
already called there.

Follow commits c706471b2601 ("net: axienet: remove unnecessary
ether_setup after alloc_etherdev") and 3c87dcbfb36c ("net: ll_temac:
Remove unnecessary ether_setup after alloc_etherdev") and fix the
pattern in all remaining ethernet drivers.

<title>dm9000: Return an ERR_PTR() in all error conditions of dm9000_parse_dt()</title>

In one error condition dm9000_parse_dt() returns NULL, however the
return value is checked using IS_ERR() in dm9000_probe(), leading to the
error not being properly propagated if CONFIG_OF is not enabled or the
device tree data is not available. Fix this by also returning an
ERR_PTR() in this case.
