[ Upstream commit c1bbd9900d65ac65b9fce9f129e3369a04871570 ]

Ntuple filters can be deleted when the interface
is down. The current code blindly sends the filter
delete command to FW. When the interface is down, all
the VNICs are deleted in the FW. When the VNIC is
freed in the FW, all the associated filters are also
freed. We need not send the free command explicitly.
Sending such command will generate FW error in the
dmesg.

In order to fix this, we can safely return from
bnxt_hwrm_cfa_ntuple_filter_free() when BNXT_STATE_OPEN
is not true which confirms the VNICs have been deleted.

<title>bnxt_en: Fix RSS context delete logic</title>

[ Upstream commit e123d9302d223767bd910bfbcfe607bae909f8ac ]

We need to free the corresponding RSS context VNIC
in FW everytime an RSS context is deleted in driver.
Commit 667ac333dbb7 added a check to delete the VNIC
in FW only when netif_running() is true to help delete
RSS contexts with interface down.

Having that condition will make the driver leak VNICs
in FW whenever close() happens with active RSS contexts.
On the subsequent open(), as part of RSS context restoration,
we will end up trying to create extra VNICs for which we
did not make any reservation. FW can fail this request,
thereby making us lose active RSS contexts.

Suppose an RSS context is deleted already and we try to
process a delete request again, then the HWRM functions
will check for validity of the request and they simply
return if the resource is already freed. So, even for
delete-when-down cases, netif_running() check is not
necessary.

Remove the netif_running() condition check when deleting
an RSS context.

[ Upstream commit 61cef6454cfbb9fcdbe41401fb53895f86603081 ]

It appears that in commit 7efd79c0e689 ("bnxt_en: Add drop action
support for ntuple"), bnxt gained support for ntuple filters for packet
drops.

However, support for this does not seem to work in recent kernels or
against net-next:

  % sudo ethtool -U eth0 flow-type udp4 src-ip 1.1.1.1 action -1
rmgr: Cannot insert RX class rule: Operation not supported
    Cannot insert classification rule

The issue is that the existing code uses ethtool_get_flow_spec_ring_vf,
which will return a non-zero value if the ring_cookie is set to
RX_CLS_FLOW_DISC, which then causes bnxt_add_ntuple_cls_rule to return
-EOPNOTSUPP because it thinks the user is trying to set an ntuple filter
for a vf.

Fix this by first checking that the ring_cookie is not RX_CLS_FLOW_DISC.

After this patch, ntuple filters for drops can be added:

  % sudo ethtool -U eth0 flow-type udp4 src-ip 1.1.1.1 action -1
  Added rule with ID 0

  % ethtool -n eth0
  44 RX rings available
  Total 1 rules

commit 8ff6175139967cd17b2a62bca4b2de2559942b7e upstream.

The CONFIG_DEFAULT_HUNG_TASK_TIMEOUT setting is only available when the
hung task detection is enabled, otherwise the code now produces a build
failure:

drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/bnxt/bnxt.c:10188:21: error: use of undeclared identifier 'CONFIG_DEFAULT_HUNG_TASK_TIMEOUT'

commit 0fcad44a86bdc2b5f202d91ba1eeeee6fceb7b25 upstream.

The firmware advertises a "hwrm_cmd_max_timeout" value to the driver
for NVRAM and coredump related functions that can take tens of seconds
to complete. The driver polls for the operation to complete under
mutex and may trigger hung task watchdog warning if the wait is too long.
To warn the user about this, the driver currently prints a warning if
this advertised value exceeds 40 seconds:

Device requests max timeout of %d seconds, may trigger hung task watchdog

Initially, we chose 40 seconds, well below the kernel's default
CONFIG_DEFAULT_HUNG_TASK_TIMEOUT (120 seconds) to avoid triggering
the hung task watchdog. But 60 seconds is the timeout on most
production FW and cannot be reduced further. Change the driver's warning
threshold to 60 seconds to avoid triggering this warning on all
production devices. We also print the warning if the value exceeds
CONFIG_DEFAULT_HUNG_TASK_TIMEOUT which may be set to architecture
specific defaults as low as 10 seconds.

Fix the max number of bits passed to find_first_zero_bit() in
bnxt_alloc_agg_idx(). We were incorrectly passing the number of
long words. find_first_zero_bit() may fail to find a zero bit and
cause a wrong ID to be used. If the wrong ID is already in use, this
can cause data corruption. Sometimes an error like this can also be
seen:

bnxt_en 0000:83:00.0 enp131s0np0: TPA end agg_buf 2 != expected agg_bufs 1

Fix it by passing the correct number of bits MAX_TPA_P5. Use
DECLARE_BITMAP() to more cleanly define the bitmap. Add a sanity
check to warn if a bit cannot be found and reset the ring [MChan].

[ Upstream commit 0373d5c387f24de749cc22e694a14b3a7c7eb515 ]

For XDP_TX action in bnxt_rx_xdp(), clearing of the event flags is not
correct.  __bnxt_poll_work() -&gt; bnxt_rx_pkt() -&gt; bnxt_rx_xdp() may be
looping within NAPI and some event flags may be set in earlier
iterations. In particular, if BNXT_TX_EVENT is set earlier indicating
some XDP_TX packets are ready and pending, it will be cleared if it is
XDP_TX action again. Normally, we will set BNXT_TX_EVENT again when we
successfully call __bnxt_xmit_xdp(). But if the TX ring has no more
room, the flag will not be set. This will cause the TX producer to be
ahead but the driver will not hit the TX doorbell.

For multi-buf XDP_TX, there is no need to clear the event flags and set
BNXT_AGG_EVENT. The BNXT_AGG_EVENT flag should have been set earlier in
bnxt_rx_pkt().

The visible symptom of this is that the RX ring associated with the
TX XDP ring will eventually become empty and all packets will be dropped.
Because this condition will cause the driver to not refill the RX ring
seeing that the TX ring has forever pending XDP_TX packets.

The fix is to only clear BNXT_RX_EVENT when we have successfully
called __bnxt_xmit_xdp().
