[ Upstream commit 02597d39145bb0aa81d04bf39b6a913ce9a9d465 ]

In the bnxt_en driver ndo_rx_flow_steer returns '0' whenever an entry
that we are attempting to steer is already found. This is not the
correct behavior. The return code should be the value/index that
corresponds to the entry. Returning zero all the time causes the
RFS records to be incorrect unless entry '0' is the correct one. As
flows migrate to different cores this can create entries that are not
correct.

bnx2x_tpa_stop() allocates a memory chunk from new_data with
bnx2x_frag_alloc(). The new_data should be freed when gets some error.
But when "pad + len > fp->rx_buf_size" is true, bnx2x_tpa_stop() returns
without releasing the new_data, which will lead to a memory leak.

We should free the new_data with bnx2x_frag_free() when "pad + len >
fp->rx_buf_size" is true.

Commit d60cd06331a3 ("PM: ACPI: reboot: Use S5 for reboot") caused a
reboot hang on one Dell servers so the commit was reverted.

Someone managed to collect the AER log and it's caused by MSI:

The MSI is probably raised by incoming packets, so power down the device
and disable bus mastering to stop the traffic, as user confirmed this
approach works.

In addition to that, be extra safe and cancel reset task if it's running.

[ Upstream commit 9dec850fd7c210a04b4707df8e6c95bfafdd6a4b ]

GCC 12 currently generates a rather inconsistent warning:

drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/tg3.c:17795:51: warning: array subscript 5 is above array bounds of ‘struct tg3_napi[5]’ [-Warray-bounds]
17795 |                 struct tg3_napi *tnapi = &tp->napi[i];
      |                                           ~~~~~~~~^~~

i is guaranteed < tp->irq_max which in turn is either 1 or 5.
There are more loops like this one in the driver, but strangely
GCC 12 dislikes only this single one.

Silence this silliness for now.

EEH calls into bnx2x twice based on the system log above, first through
bnx2x_io_error_detected() and then bnx2x_io_slot_reset(), and executes
the following call chains:

bnx2x_io_error_detected()
  +-> bnx2x_eeh_nic_unload()
       +-> bnx2x_del_all_napi()
            +-> __netif_napi_del()

  +-> bnx2x_netif_stop()
       +-> bnx2x_napi_disable()
            +->napi_disable()

Fix this by correcting the sequence of NAPI APIs usage,
that is delete the NAPI after disabling it.

[ Upstream commit 7c492a2530c1f05441da541307c2534230dfd59b ]

If the flow control settings have been changed, a subsequent FW reset
may cause the ethernet link to toggle unnecessarily. This link toggle
will increase the down time by a few seconds.

The problem is caused by bnxt_update_phy_setting() detecting a false
mismatch in the flow control settings between the stored software
settings and the current FW settings after the FW reset. This mismatch
is caused by the AUTONEG bit added to link_info->req_flow_ctrl in an
inconsistent way in bnxt_set_pauseparam() in autoneg mode. The AUTONEG
bit should not be added to link_info->req_flow_ctrl.

commit 9deb48b53e7f4056c2eaa2dc2ee3338df619e4f6 upstream.

The driver neglects to check the result of platform_get_irq_optional()'s
call and blithely passes the negative error codes to devm_request_irq()
(which takes *unsigned* IRQ #), causing it to fail with -EINVAL.
Stop calling devm_request_irq() with the invalid IRQ #s.

commit 8b8e6e782456f1ce02a7ae914bbd5b1053f0b034 upstream.

The descriptor list is a shared resource across all of the transmit queues, and
the locking mechanism used today only protects concurrency across a given
transmit queue between the transmit and reclaiming. This creates an opportunity
for the SYSTEMPORT hardware to work on corrupted descriptors if we have
multiple producers at once which is the case when using multiple transmit
queues.

This was particularly noticeable when using multiple flows/transmit queues and
it showed up in interesting ways in that UDP packets would get a correct UDP
header checksum being calculated over an incorrect packet length. Similarly TCP
packets would get an equally correct checksum computed by the hardware over an
incorrect packet length.

The SYSTEMPORT hardware maintains an internal descriptor list that it re-arranges
when the driver produces a new descriptor anytime it writes to the
WRITE_PORT_{HI,LO} registers, there is however some delay in the hardware to
re-organize its descriptors and it is possible that concurrent TX queues
eventually break this internal allocation scheme to the point where the
length/status part of the descriptor gets used for an incorrect data buffer.

The fix is to impose a global serialization for all TX queues in the short
section where we are writing to the WRITE_PORT_{HI,LO} registers which solves
the corruption even with multiple concurrent TX queues being used.

[ Upstream commit f8885ac89ce310570e5391fe0bf0ec9c7c9b4fdc ]

Smatch says:
	bnx2x_init_ops.h:640 bnx2x_ilt_client_mem_op()
	warn: variable dereferenced before check 'ilt' (see line 638)

Move ilt_cli variable initialization _after_ ilt validation, because
it's unsafe to deref the pointer before validation check.
