commit 5c14e51d2d7df49fe0d4e64a12c58d2542f452ff upstream.

Accessing device registers seems to be not reliable, the chip
revision is sometimes detected wrongly (0 instead of expected 1).

Ensure that the chip reset is performed via reset GPIO and then
wait for 'Device Ready' status in HW_CFG register before doing
any register initializations.

<title>dsa: lan9303: Fix mapping between DSA port number and PHY address</title>

The 'phy' parameter supplied to lan9303_phy_read/_write was sometimes a
DSA port number and sometimes a PHY address. This isn't a problem as
long as they are equal. But if the external phy_addr_sel_strap pin is
wired to 'high', the PHY addresses change from 0-1-2 to 1-2-3 (CPU,
slave0, slave1). In this case, lan9303_phy_read/_write must translate
between DSA port numbers and the corresponding PHY address.

This pattern of strncpy with some pointer arithmetic setting fixed-sized
intervals with string literal data is a bit weird so let's use
ethtool_puts() as this has more obvious behavior and is less-error
prone.

Nicely, we also get to drop a usage of the now deprecated strncpy() [1].

Convert lan9303 to provide its own phylink MAC operations, thus
avoiding the shim layer in DSA's port.c. We need to provide stubs for
the mac_link_down() and mac_config() methods which are mandatory.

from "master" which is replaced by "conduit" and "slave" which is
replaced by "user". No functional changes.

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

LAN9303 doesn't associate FDB (ALR) entries with VLANs, it has just one
global Address Logic Resolution table [1].

Ignore VID in port_fdb_{add|del} methods, go on with the global table. This
is the same semantics as hellcreek or RZ/N1 implement.

Visible symptoms:
LAN9303_MDIO 5b050000.ethernet-1:00: port 2 failed to delete 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:cf vid 1 from fdb: -2
LAN9303_MDIO 5b050000.ethernet-1:00: port 2 failed to add 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:cf vid 1 to fdb: -95

There is no gpiod_export() and gpiod_unexport() looks pretty much stray.
The gpiod_export() and gpiod_unexport() shouldn't be used in the code,
GPIO sysfs is deprecated. That said, simply drop the stray call.
