commit 4f7efc71891462ab7606da7039f480d7c1584a13 upstream.

The Sharp protocol[1] encoding has incorrect timings for bit space.

The longer the IR timeout, the longer the rc device waits until delivering
the trailing space. So, by reducing this timeout, we reduce the delay for
the last scancode to be delivered.

Note that the lirc daemon disables all protocols, in which case we revert
back to the default value.

Update my imgtec.com and personal email address to my kernel.org one in
a few places as MIPS will soon no longer be part of Imagination
Technologies, and add mappings in .mailcap so get_maintainer.pl reports
the right address.

RC_TYPE is confusing and it's just the protocol. So rename it.

Checking whether a protocol is enabled and calling the related decoder
functions should be done by the rc core, not the protocol handlers.

Properly handle lirc considering that no protocol bit is set for lirc.

Denon also uses the Sharp protocol, however with different check bits.

It would have been also possible to add this as a separate protocol
but this may not be worth the effort.

Successfully tested with a Denon RC-1002 remote control.
