<title>mISDN: avoid arch specific __builtin_return_address call</title>

commit 3e7a8716e20b759eec0ad88145255bb33174f0c8 upstream.

Not all architectures are able to call __builtin_return_address().
On ARM, the mISDN code produces this warning:

hardware/mISDN/w6692.c: In function 'w6692_dctrl':
hardware/mISDN/w6692.c:1181:75: warning: unsupported argument to '__builtin_return_address'
  pr_debug("%s: %s dev(%d) open from %p\n", card-&gt;name, __func__,
                                                                           ^
hardware/mISDN/mISDNipac.c: In function 'open_dchannel':
hardware/mISDN/mISDNipac.c:759:75: warning: unsupported argument to '__builtin_return_address'
  pr_debug("%s: %s dev(%d) open from %p\n", isac-&gt;name, __func__,
                                                                           ^

In a lot of cases, this is relatively easy to work around by
passing the value of __builtin_return_address(0) from the
callers into the functions that want it. One exception is
the indirect 'open' function call in struct isac_hw. While it
would be possible to fix this as well, this patch only addresses
the other callers properly and lets this one return the direct
parent function, which should be good enough.

commit 950eabbd6ddedc1b08350b9169a6a51b130ebaaf upstream.

With some gcc versions, we get a warning about the eicon driver,
and that currently shows up as the only remaining warning in one
of the build bots:

In file included from ../drivers/isdn/hardware/eicon/message.c:30:0:
eicon/message.c: In function 'mixer_notify_update':
eicon/platform.h:333:18: warning: array subscript is above array bounds [-Warray-bounds]

The code is easily changed to open-code the unusual PUT_WORD() line
causing this to avoid the warning.

commit 40d24c4d8a7430aa4dfd7a665fa3faf3b05b673f upstream.

There are two issue here.
1) cnt starts as maxloop + 1 so all these loops iterate one more time
    than intended.
2) At the end of the loop we test for "if (maxloop &amp;&amp; !cnt)" but for
the first two loops, we end with cnt equal to -1. Changing this to
a pre-op means we end with cnt set to 0.

Not really a problem, but nice IMHO; the Coverity static analyzer
complains that we use the pointer 'e' after it has been freed, so move
the freeing below the final use, even if that use is just using the
value of the pointer and not actually dereferencing it.

Misc cleanups all over the place, mainly wrt /proc interfaces (switch
create_proc_entry to proc_create(), get rid of the deprecated
create_proc_read_entry() in favor of using proc_create_data() and
seq_file etc).

The only part of proc_dir_entry the code outside of fs/proc
really cares about is PDE(inode)-&gt;data. Provide a helper
for that; static inline for now, eventually will be moved
to fs/proc, along with the knowledge of struct proc_dir_entry
layout.
