<title>Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument</title>

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

<title>treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types</title>

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

'calibrate' was a one-shot event sent to the sensor to calibrate itself.
It is used on Bosch sensors (BMI160, BMA254).
Light sensors work differently: They are first put in calibration mode,
tests are run to collect information and calculate the calibration
values to apply. Once done, the sensors are put back in normal mode.

Accept boolean true and false (not just true) to enter/exit calibration
state.

Check "echo 0 &gt; calibrate" is supported.

Implement iio_device_claim_buffer_mode() fully inline with the use of
__iio_dev_mode_lock(), which takes care of sparse annotations.

To completely match iio_device_claim_direct() semantics, we need to
also change iio_device_claim_buffer_mode() return semantics to usual
true/false conditional lock semantics.

Additionally, to avoid silently breaking out-of-tree drivers, rename
iio_device_claim_buffer_mode() to iio_device_claim_try_buffer_mode().

Fisrt of all, const_ilog2() was a workaround of some sparse issue,
which was never appeared in the C functions. Second, the calls here
are done against constants and work with a bit of luck. Replace
this altogether by a pre-calculated simple integer constant.
Amend a comment to give a hint where it comes from.

If an error occurs after a successful mfd_add_devices() call, it should be
undone by a corresponding mfd_remove_devices() call, as already done in the
remove function.

Replace calls of devm_kzalloc() with devm_kcalloc() in scmi_alloc_iiodev()
and scmi_iio_set_sampling_freq_avail() for safer memory allocation with
built-in overflow protection.

Similarly, use array_size() instead of explicit multiplication for
'sensor-&gt;sensor_info-&gt;intervals.count * 2'.
