<title>HID: steelseries: Fix signedness bug in steelseries_headset_arctis_1_fetch_battery()</title>

The hid_hw_raw_request() function returns negative error codes or the
number bytes transferred.  The problem is that when it returns negative
error codes and we check if "ret &lt; sizeof(arctis_1_battery_request)",
then the negative values are type promoted from int to high unsigned long
values and treated as success.

This was detected using Smatch:

    drivers/hid/hid-steelseries.c:393 steelseries_headset_arctis_1_fetch_battery()
warn: error code type promoted to positive: 'ret'

arctis_1_battery_request[] is not used outside of this module, and as
such should be static.

A HID device could send a malicious output report that would cause the
steelseries HID driver to write beyond the output report allocation
during initialization, causing a heap overflow:

Fixes 'undefined reference' issue when hid-steelseries is built in,
but led-class is a module.
--
drivers/built-in.o: In function `steelseries_srws1_remove':
hid-steelseries.c:(.text+0x3b97a1): undefined reference to `led_classdev_unregister'
drivers/built-in.o: In function `steelseries_srws1_probe':
hid-steelseries.c:(.text+0x3b9c51): undefined reference to `led_classdev_register'

hid-steelseries.c:(.text+0x3b9d4b): undefined reference to `led_classdev_unregister'

Patch allows LED control when led-class is built in, or both hid-steelseries
_and_ led-class are both modules.
